Geometric Dimensions of Cuffs
The InsulTech heat-shrinkable sleeve is a measured piece of two-layer heat-shrinkable tape. The sleeve consists of a heat- and light-stabilized, radiation-cross-linked and oriented polyethylene base and a hot-melt adhesive layer. The cuffs are supplied in rolls or in measured lengths. The thickness and width of the cuffs are determined by the pipe diameter and the length of the uninsulated part of the welded joint zone.

Geometric Dimensions of Lock Plates
The InsulTech locking plate is a two-layer system made of radiation-cross-linked polyethylene base with an adhesive layer reinforced with fiberglass mesh. The plate is designed to connect the end sections of the cuff during the work on forming the cuff into a ring and its heat shrinkage.
