InsulTech, in collaboration with Satbayev University (KazNITU named after K. I. Satpayev), is implementing a strategically significant project for the production of radiation-modified heat-shrinkable materials—sleeves and tapes for anticorrosion, waterproofing, and thermal insulation protection of pipelines. The production facility is located in the Republic of Kazakhstan and meets the requirements for industrial operation under high loads and aggressive environmental conditions.
Spiral Wrapping
Application of the tape to the insulated surface using the spiral wrapping method with overlapping turns
A two-component system based on modified epoxy resin and a hardener. Designed for anticorrosion protection of metal pipes, welded joint areas, and other metal surfaces
Epoxy Primer (Optional)
Heat-Shrink Tape
The tape is made of a radiation-crosslinked polyethylene backing and a hot-melt adhesive. This two-layer material is used for insulation and protection of pipelines against corrosion

Fire resistance
Protection of the thermal insulation layer not only from environmental impacts but also from open flame
Pipeline protection
Protection of the thermal insulation layer of heating pipelines during above-ground installation
Advantages
Recommended tape width and consumption
InsulTech heat-shrink tape is designed for basic insulation of steel pipes or anticorrosion protection of pipeline components in field or factory conditions. The tape has a two-layer structure, but when used with an epoxy primer, it forms a three-layer anticorrosion protection system.
